Louis Monreal award 2019

The Luis Monreal award for the best resident’s oral presentation during the 2019 ECEIM congress in Valencia was attributed to:

• Lisa de Lange from the Equine Cardioteam in Ghent University: first successful applications of closed loop stimulation pacemakers with remote monitoring in two syncopal miniature donkeys

AND

• Francesca Worsman from University of Edinburgh: assessment and intra-observer variability of equine left atrium volume using 4D Manual LVQ algorithm (GE healthcare)

Lisa and Francesca will present their research work during next ACVIM congress in Baltimore in June 2020!
