How to become an ECEIM Diplomate
This section describes in detail how to become an ECEIM Diplomate.
First of all, you need to find an institution that offers Residency training and a supervising Diplomate that is willing to be your mentor. You can find institutions that offer Residency training at the section Institutions.
When you have found both an institution and a supervisor, you can create an account at our website. Click on the drop down menu "Not logged in". Follow "Log in" and use the "Create new account" tab. Enter your details and save. You will receive further instructions by email.
Once logged in you will see a note about the creation of your resident profile. Create and complete the profile and publish it. Once accepted by the website administrator you will receive another e-mail with further instructions.
All required forms that need to be completed to become an ECEIM Diplomate can be found in your personal ECEIM account. HARD COPIES are not necessary anymore. From January 2019 onwards, every document must be uploaded via your personal account on the ECEIM website.
