Logistics for the next examination attempt

DATE: Examinations will be held 2nd to 5th February 2026

IMPORTANT UPDATE POSTED 12/12/2025

Location of examinations: Online / remote

The examination committee intend to allow candidates to complete examinations in dispersed locations around the globe. All examination will be run during daytime in the Central European Time zone.  

Candidates will be responsible for recruiting EBVS or ABVS diplomates to act as proctors / invigilators during the examination. They can either do this in the home institution or find another centre where other candidates are being examined

Candidates completing multiple phases of the examination that include the CJT will obtain a bespoke timetable. After completion of the individual CJT, they will have a break and immediately commence certifying MCQ or OCM.

Candidates completing just the certifying MCQ and OCM will usually commence at 09:30


INVIGILATORS

Candidates are responsible for nominating invigilators using the following form. 

One FORM must be submitted PER single invigilator. 

  • You cannot use one form for more than one email address
  • Only one form needs to be submitted per invigilator
    • If candidates are working together, submit one form and add the names in the box at the end

       

 


Format:

  • Candidates for the General, Certifying or Case Management questions will complete all examinations using Examplify, an electronic testing platform on their OWN device
  • Candidates for the Clinical Justification examinations will undertake a viva examination either in using a video link - again they will need to bring their own device
