
Logistics for the next examination attempt
DATE: Examinations will be held 2nd to 5th February 2026
Location of examinations: Online / remote
The examination committee intend to allow candidates to complete examinations in dispersed locations around the globe. All examination will be run during daytime in the Central European Time zone.
Candidates will be responsible for recruiting EBVS or ABVS diplomates to act as proctors / invigilators during the examination. They can either do this in the home institution or find another centre where other candidates are being examined

Clinical justification vivas – candidates need to be available for the entire day and will be sent bespoke timings. A period of isolation / quarantine is needed to ensure the integrity of the examinations
In exceptional cases – Friday would be used for any overflow arrangements in the case of delays
Format:
- Candidates for the General, Certifying or Case Management questions will complete all examinations using Examplify, an electronic testing platform on their OWN device
- Candidates for the Clinical Justification examinations will undertake a viva examination either in using a video link - again they will need to bring their own device
