Committees
The ECC is responsible for the enrolment of residents and residency-training institutions. This committee supports the residents in obtaining the required education and training for completion of the credentials required to take the examination to become a specialist. This committee also supports Diplomates in meeting all credential requirements for recertification. The ECC evaluates all examination, recertification and membership applications.

The exam committee is responsible for the final examination of the residents before they can become a Diplomate of the College. The committee produces and assesses a yearly examination that is based on multiple choice questions, essay questions and an objective case management oral examination. The Exam Committee consists of 8 members and two subcommittees “the question writing group” and “the question rating group”.

The Marketing Committee provides advice about the role of Diplomates in equine internal medicine in Europe, and how to increase the exposure and significance of what an ECEIM Diplomate means to owners and general veterinary practitioners.
The overall purpose of the ATAC is to provide oversight and strategic advice to the Board of ECEIM to ensure the development and maintenance of an ongoing and well-co-ordinated programme of high-quality training and professional development for Diplomates of the College.
