The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) aims to advance equine internal medicine in Europe and increase the competency of those who practice in this field.

The ECEIM was established in 2000 and became a fully recognised member of the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS) in 2010. The EBVS was set up to encourage, recognise and monitor veterinary specialty colleges such as the ECEIM.

Scone Equine Hospital is seeking applicants for an equine medicine and critical care internship based in Scone, New South Wales, Australia. We are a busy referral hospital with a high neonatology and adult critical care caseload. The intern will be based primarily in the medicine department for the first 6 months, followed  by rotations through anaesthesia, surgery and radiology over the subsequent 6 months. The position would suit new graduates or those with 1-3 years experience in practice.
