Presentation and Poster formats

Oral Presentations

The oral presentation should be prepared in using MS Powerpoint (or compatible if Powerpoint not possible). Each presentation should follow the format of the abstract (introduction, methods, results, discussion), but with a greater focus on methods and results. The presentation should last 10-12 minutes maximum to leave enough time for questions and discussion with the audience. Presentations from residents will also be assessed by members of the scientific committee to select the winner of the LM award (including funds to present their work at the 2023 ACVIM forum).

Poster presentation

Posters should be printed and have size 80x100cm (width x height). Presenters should ensure posters are put in places on the assigned panel prior to the start of the congress. Authors should ensure they are present in front of their poster at 15.45 on the Friday 28th October, so that delegates can read the posters and ask questions. Posters from residents will also be assessed by members of the scientific committee to select the winner of the LM award (including funds to present their work at the 2023 ACVIM forum).
