Introduction

This is the 13th ECEIM newsletter. The goal of our newsletter is to provide Diplomates and residents with current information about the ongoing activities and plans for the College. If Diplomates want any subjects discussed in future newsletters, please let us know.

Message from the President

Covid-19 is still there and still bothering the organisation of meetings and congresses (and life...) all around the world! This will be the case for ECEIM meetings as, for the second year, the summer school and the congress will be organised virtually. Hopefully, we will still be able to organise the congress in Roma in 2022 and then the congress in Lyon in 2023. Looking forward to see you all again!
The Examination and the Marketing Committee have done a tremendous work during the past year. This work has been shown as an example during last EBVS General Assembly which was held in April 2021. Mark Bowen, member of ECEIM Examination Committee, is now the EBVS Education Director and has presented the work done with the ECEIM residents as an example for other colleges. Also, Sophie Wilford, head of the Marketing Committee, has presented her ideas and her realization for ECEIM at EBVS GA. I would like to thank both of them and their committees for this enhancement of our college. We can be proud of our college which is shown as an example!  
Next exam will be held in June/July 2021 and we will provide information about the new Diplomates as soon as we know their names!
