The ECC needs YOU

The Education and Credentials Committee is looking for new members. The committee is responsible for overview of the entire residency program from institution certification and recertification, to enrolment of the residents and until, hopefully, successful achievement of diplomate status for our residents. It is also responsible for re-certification of our current diplomates in order to continually encourage excellence in our college. This committee has made major technical advances, with streamlining all of these processes and doing away with paper-dependency. We will be continuing to work on improving the functioning of the committee with the help of the board of the college. As a member of this committee, you will be expected to assess and evaluate submissions for the various purposes which occur year-round but primarily in the summer, after the June submission for enrolment and recertification, and examination applications. In return, you will make new friends and will also receive 6 points/year towards your recertification as well as expense re-embursement for attending committee meetings when they take place in person.
