Pferdeklinik Saarlorlux

The Equine Clinic Saarlorlux - founded in 1996 – is a well-established emergency / referral hospital located in lovely Saarland, not far from the French and Luxemburg border.
We can stable up to 35 horses in our clinic area. Our experienced veterinarians (3) and the younger veterinary assistants (6) provide medical attention in all areas of equine practice. Primary services include diagnostics and treatment in:

• Internal Medicine including gastrointerology, hepatology, endocrinology, respirology, cardiology, neurology, dermatology
• Neonatology
• Emergency and Critical Care
• Ophthalmology
• Dentistry
• Lameness
• Surgery (orthopaedic, soft tissue, emergency)
• Sports Medicine
• Reproduction
• Ambulatory practice

All supported by in-house basic laboratory equipment and daily submission of samples to external diagnostic laboratories. In addition, the clinic is well equipped with necessary diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. There are two active working diplomates: ECEIM/ACVIM and ECVS. The clinic is also part of the Altano Group, offering the possibility of externships and broader training experiences in dozens of clinics in Germany, throughout Europe and the entire world.
