European College of Equine Internal Medicine
Institution profile

University of Nottingham

The University of Nottingham provide an internal medicine residency across our dispersed model of clinical teaching. Academic staff work alongside private hospitals and provide specialist services at

Oakham Veterinary Hospital (Redpath and Shipman)

Defence Animal Training Regiment (Corradini)

Pool House Veterinary Clinical (Hallowell and Duz)

Each clinical provides a traditional veterinary medicine teaching hospital environment with morning rounds, specialist care and services. Residents are based at either Oakham Veterinary Hospital or Pool House and spend periods of time at the Defence Animal Training Regiment to supplement their training.

Pathology services are provided on Campus at Sutton Bonington alongside academic services and post-graduate support

The programme has been amended since Dr Rendle is no longer working at Rainbow Equine Hospital, where residents have previously undertaken clinical pathology training
