ATAC Webinar Dr. Janny De Grauw

The next educational Specialist Webinar developed by ECEIM's ATAC committee in conjunction with Boehringer Academy is scheduled for January 16th 2019 at 6PM GMT (7PM CET).

Dr. Janny de Grauw will talk about 'Clinical Pain Management for Horses in the Intensive Care'. Dr. De Grauw is a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia and she spends a big part of her time in the OR and the ICU at Utrecht University Equine Hospital. Dr. De Grauw will provide an overview on the pathophysiology of pain as well as the use of clinical scoring systems for objective pain recognition in horses. She will also discuss practical approaches to managing these often challenging cases in the ICU. 

This webinar is aimed at ECEIM specialists and residents, but is open to all who are interested in equine internal medicine, equine critical care and pain management.
