Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Equine Medicine
The School of Agricultural, Environmental & Veterinary Sciences at Charles Sturt University, NSW, Australia invites applications for a continuing, full time faculty position (lecturer/senior lecturer/associate professor) in equine medicine.
The role involves providing clinical and teaching services in equine medicine at our state-of-the-art equine veterinary hospital and contains opportunities for professional development and is designed to fit with individual needs while working with specialists in equine medicine, equine sports medicine, theriogenology, anaesthesia and equine surgery and experienced technical staff who are focused on delivering high-quality clinical services, undergraduate and resident teaching and research. Applicants must hold a veterinary degree recognised by the Veterinary Practitioners Board of NSW, ACVIM and/or ECEIM and /or ANZCVS specialist qualifications in equine medicine field (senior lecturer/associate professor applicants) or completion of an ACVIM/ECEIM/ANZCVS residency and eligibility to sit board certification examinations (lecturer applicants). Commitment to upholding the advancement of the discipline of equine medicine and the veterinary profession through professional activity and/or research is required.
The successful candidate will be appointed to either a teaching research or teaching professional work function and will have access to the University's generous relocation support scheme.
